Hi, my name is Paveethra Ramanisankar. I started Soulful because I was raised in a microschool myself. I’ve lived this journey as a learner, facilitator, and founder. I’ve seen what small, intentional learning spaces do to a human being. This program grew from that lived knowing. I believe the future of progressive education lies in microschooling. A world where founders are not competitors, but a community sharing ideas, resources, and support. Where parents are not customers, and educators are not service providers. Ongoing support as you live out your vision in real-time.
Part 1: Pedagogy, Perspective & Practicalities
This component weaves inner work with progressive pedagogies such as child-led, nature-based, and creation-led frameworks to define how children will learn in your space. Also, we gently but honestly touch the realities of founding: legal structures, administration and financial sustainability. Outcome: A pedagogical stance to design learning experiences aligned to your context and a practical blueprint to start your school. Mode: Online live sessions Certificate: From Soulful Center for Learning upon completion.
Part 2: Translate Your Purpose into Structure
To align vision & everyday practice, the cohort will be part of the course Articulating the Intangibles of Teaching, from Professional Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Outcome: Make your mission and values visible in daily practice. Mode: Online Asynchronous + Live sessions facilitated by Pavee, founder of Soulful (a Harvard alumna). Certificate: From Professional Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education upon completion.
Part 3: Ongoing Support
For one academic year, we open the doors of our own school to you digitally. Think of it as a live case study: you get a front-row seat to the daily evolution of Soulful Center for Learning, its lesson flows and plans, honest pivots and real-time reflections of a vision in action. This is not a packaged curriculum or set of books but an inside view of how learning takes shape. Outcome: Capacity to design learning that responds to children and places. Mode: Fortnightly updates from the Soulful journey delivered via digital files, videos, and emails. Access to lesson flows, practitioner reflections, and resource materials.
1. What is a microschool?
A microschool is an intentionally small, independent school that prioritizes deep, personalized relationships and learning tailored to children’s needs, interests, and pace.
2. Is this a franchise?
No. We don’t replicate models. We help you build your own.
3. Is this only for India-based founders?
No. The program is global, with context-sensitive guidance.
4. What if I’m unsure I’ll start immediately?
That’s okay. This journey is about clarity - not pressure.
5. What does the fee cover?
